SMI consultants work with training providers, employers, workforce boards, and economic development organizations to improve workforce development systems and outcomes.



The Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board

SMI worked closely with the WIB's executive director and board on strategic planning and organizational development to maximize the engagement of the private sector partners, and to increase the effectiveness of WIB programs to meet the labor market needs in the Cape and Islands region.



The Urban College of Boston

SMI helped this two-year college to design new programs, creating career pathways for students studying for child care certification; including building new public-private partnerships to develop job opportunities for graduates.



The Medical Foundation

SMI worked with the BEST Initiative to create resources to support youthworker training programs and credentialing initiatives.
