Biography:
Jennifer Freeman, founder of Freeman Consulting, has nearly 20 years experience in the public and non-profit sectors, working as a planner, program developer, manager, public policy researcher and advocate. She has a deep understanding of the interplay between government, non-profits and issues of social policy, and is a skilled strategist, facilitator, planner and trainer.
Her current services include organizational development; program planning; evaluation; public policy analysis, research and advocacy; and resource development. She has deep, substantive knowledge in a wide range of issue areas including workforce development, youth development, child and family services, early care and education, adult education, housing and homelessness. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts.
Experience:
Prior to beginning her consulting practice she worked for the Massachusetts Legislature and the City of Boston, and developed and managed the programs of Crittenton Hastings House, a large multi-service organization focused on the needs of young families. As a consultant she helps non-profits, philanthropies and government agencies improve their programs so they can more effectively achieve their social missions.
